Don’s Meat Shop has so much in inventory, honestly, we were a little surprised because the building isn’t really that large. 

They carry so many great-looking meats it’s pretty difficult to decide. And they carry some specialty products too like the Tomahawk Ribeye (which is HUGE!), TriTip Roasts, Hanger Steaks, Fish, Shrimp, Crawfish, Small Breast Chicken, and Massive Pork Chops, just to name a few.

They also make a lot of the items they sell right there in-house. All their sausages are housemade, and they have what seemed like anything you could want from regular breakfast sausage to a breakfast sausage that has bacon ground right into the mixture.

And, talk about link sausages, they offer a whole host of products from Bratwurst, Andouille, Boudin, Italian sausage, and more.

This place is really a must-visit if you haven’t been there yet. If you’re looking for something a little special, they’ll custom cut anything they have to just the thickness or size you want (2” thick steaks come to mind…).

They do get busy so if you are going to ask for something special or something they don’t normally carry, I’d recommend calling them first and they’ll have it ready when you come in.
