We’re Kim and David Hawke—Kim grew up in Cleveland, TN and David grew up in Ringgold, GA. We've been Chattanooga locals since 2000 and proud supporters of the small business community that makes this city shine.

Over the years, we’ve made countless memories in neighborhoods all across town, from early-morning coffee stops to late-night live music, and everything in between. This website is our way of sharing those experiences and continuing to explore all the amazing people, places, and stories that make Chattanooga home.

Our mission is simple: shine a light on local businesses, connect people with the heart of the city, and help small business owners thrive. We’ve been part of that world since 2002 and understand both the challenges and the rewards. With a background in remodeling and marketing systems, we’ve worked alongside local entrepreneurs to build stronger, smarter businesses. Kim brings her own deep local roots—having worked for Chattanooga Bakery, one of the city’s most iconic brands, and helping launch impactful community programs like Orange Grove’s partnership with the bakery.

Our love for Chattanooga runs deeper than just our own experience. We’ve been active with the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, and even worked with the Regional Planning Agency on initiatives like expanding sidewalks and connecting Highway 58 to the Riverwalk—efforts that continue to shape how locals and visitors experience the city.

And we’re not in this alone. Meet Taco, our small but mighty sidekick and official pet-friendly guide. Whether she’s lounging on a patio, greeting her fan club at First Bank, or working the drive-thru like a pro, Taco is always helping us sniff out the best pet-welcoming spots in town. If it’s dog-friendly, chances are Taco has been there and made a few friends along the way.
